The Fillmore Silver Spring
This Friday May 15th 2026 The Mountain Goats come to The Fillmore Silver Spring for a very special night of music. One of the truly great indie folk bands of our time, The Mountain Goats are known for their poetic and deeply personal songs that have earned lead singer and poet laureate of indie rock John Darnielle the honor of turning even the smallest of rooms into a sweat soaked tiny arena.
As we've come to expect, songs about poetry and confessing one's personal business will make an appearance. Being as it's the Mountain Goats, their devoted fan base will be in attendance, and we can only assume they'll arrive prepared to endure whatever marathon set of songs John Darnielle has planned. The Fillmore Silver Spring is a newly restored historic theater located in the heart of Silver Spring, Maryland.
