The Fillmore Silver Spring
Kilmarnock's biggest rock export Biffy Clyro will bring The Futique Tour to The Fillmore Silver Spring when they appear Wednesday, May 6th, 2026. The Scottish trio will give Maryland fans the chance to hear their music live. Inspired by the spirit of Seattle’s legendary Grunge movement, California’s Raue opens the night with a frenzied brand of raw and unbridled punk rock.

The explosive force of Simon Neil, James Johnston and Ben Johnston is a live experience that is not to be missed. Some songs they may play are: Many of Horror, Bubbles, Mountains, Black Chandelier and Biblical. Their post prog metal latest album Futique was released on September 26th 2025. The Reeves brothers and their friend on bass continue on their usual route with each new album; complex song structures, melodies, energy and riffs. Scottish rock band from Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, who have achieved three consecutive number one albums in the UK. Biffy Clyro also won Album of the Year at the Scottish Music Awards 2017 for their album A Celebration of Endings. They won Best British Band at the 2013 NME Awards and were nominated for Best British Group at the 2011 Brit Awards.
Raue - a teen duo grunge band from Northern California will be performing as the opening act for the event. They blend elements of grunge, goth and punk to deliver a relentless show that mimics their fierce attitude. Consisting of vocalist/guitarist Paige Kalenian and drummer Jax Huckle, the band has just released their new EP too scared to explain in May 2025, foreshadowing their inevitable descent into 90s punk rock. All the songs that Dorian and Paige have been performing as duo, has been songs from their EPs “KARMA!!” and “too scared to explain” where one of their fan favourite songs ‘Karma’ has been getting a lot of playtime on all music platforms.
The brand new state of the art live music venue is located at 8656 Colesville Road in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. This 23,000 square foot space can comfortably fit 2,000 fans for an intimate live music experience. We feature the most up to date sound and lighting systems in the industry. This area features general admission standing room on the main floor where you become part of the show. Some shows are held in the balcony with VIP areas and booths. On site there are several parking garages with a rate of about $8 an hour, but after 10pm it is free and pay with the Park Mobile app. Alternatively, The Fillmore Silver Spring is a short walk from Silver Spring Metro Station on the Red Line. Street spaces and parking lots are abundant and all are within walking distance to The Fillmore in Silver Spring.
