The Fillmore Silver Spring
Legendary composer Danny Elfman will bring his unique live show to The Fillmore Silver Spring this fall. The show is set for Monday, September 14th, 2026 at The Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Elfman has recently completed work on a new album called Big Mess but is best known for his iconic scores for films including Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands. As the composer recently transitioned from the frontman of 80's new wave pop group Oingo Boingo to become the most in demand composer for Hollywood films, he has left a legacy of iconic scores including many collaborations with Tim Burton on films such as Batman, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Corpse Bride as well as scores for big budget films such as Spiderman, Hugo and Men in Black.

Danny Elfman is one of the most famous figures in the world of music and film. He composed music for films such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Spider-Man films (from the original trilogy and the recent franchise reboot), Good Will Hunting, Big Fish, and many others. Recently, the composer released his first solo album in 25 years called "Big Mess" in which he sings on every track. The album is a mix of orchestral compositions and rock songs, including two already released tracks called "Happy" and "True".
Most recently he released the album "Big Mess" which includes songs "Happy" and "True". He combines the score of a big Hollywood movie with the energy of Rock music. His fans, people who love movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, Edward Scissorhands and Spider-Man, will especially enjoy the live performance of his scores. Elfman has also received an Emmy Award and multiple Grammy Award nominations. He was also inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame in 2017 and in 2017 he and the rest of Oingo Boingo were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
