Recently, Dareyes made a song with Carin Leon, and all that time spent doing smaller shows, particularly throughout Mexico, seemingly paid off. They've established themselves as one of the bands that can play both banda and corridos music. Hailing from Navojoa, Sonora, Los Dareyes De La Sierra, led by vocalist and accordionist José Darey Castro, are a powerhouse in música de la sierra. With over 20 years of chart success, including “El Jabali” (2005) and “Hasta El Dia De Hoy” (2008) on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay, they hit the Billboard Hot 100 with “VVS” alongside Peso Pluma and Edgardo Nuñez in 2023.
